How it began
In the making-of documentary for Weathering With You, directed by Makoto Shinkai, I saw the process of creating a work from nothing. Forming hypotheses, testing theories, writing feelings and memories into a diary.
I was deeply moved by that sincere engagement with the craft.
There is no single right answer in creative work. It differs for each person. Even so, we should be able to support creators who keep wrestling with it.
